Ignorance of your Culture is not Considered Cool

----

loves me some Penn Jillette....opinionated, profound, & profane. "Ignorance of your Culture is not Considered Cool" i have always disliked it when people brag about not watching TV, or reading a book, or anything that sounds righteously ignorant.

by the way, dear reader... Melisma: "is the musical art of stretching a syllable over a run of notes. But American Idol contestants (and pop singers) sometimes abuse and overuse it" from

How 'American Idol' Uses (and Abuses) Melisma : NPR Music

i am SO NOT a fan of this practice: please Penn share your thoughts on this. it's eager i am!

I'd take his comment further and suggest ignorance of ALL "reality television" is not only cool but a blessing.

I don't know if i quite agree with you, Your Grace...because i quite adore a few reality shows like Top Chef & Project Runway....guilty pleasures that entertain! [grins]

"Guilty" pleasures being the key phrase - even you know it's wrong.
